Restful Sleep
Hypnosis can be used to induce deep relaxation, and create naturally
good sleep patterns. High levels of adrenalin and stress can make
it difficult to sleep, so often when anxiety and stress are reduced
sleeping patterns improve.
Hypnosis Holds the Key to Deep Relaxation
Hypnosis can be used in a very gentle and relaxing way to quieten
the mind. Any issues causing anxiety can be worked through in
therapy, and techniques can be used to relax the body as well
as the mind making it easier to drift off into a pleasant natural
sleep. Hypnosis has been clinically proven to aid restful sleep.
Brain imaging technology such as an EEG actual shows brain waves
altering under Hypnosis inducing drowsiness.
Once a person is in trance, or hypnosis, the therapist can then
give hypnotic suggestions, for instance ‘as soon as your head
hits touches the pillow at night you will feel sleepy’.
You can also be taught self-hypnosis and ways to calm and relax
before bedtime as well as practical tips, like avoiding caffeine.
Hypnosis can be relaxing and fun, it’s a great way to slow down,
unwind, and improve your sleep patterns.
